For numerous utilities and independent power producers, we have assisted in all aspects of the fuels procurement cycle. This work includes: developing procurement strategies, soliciting fuel supply bids, evaluating supply sources, negotiating fuel and transportation contracts, forecasting coal and transportation costs, setting up fuel accounting and budgeting systems, and checking fuels quality control procedures. Since the advent of electric utility deregulation, we have helped develop fuels risk management strategies.
